Usher into the New Year with these

If you find yourself wondering how to usher into the new year, equip yourself with this 3 books. My list is a little longer than that but here's a good way to start. These three books can be read and re-read a million times and it will stay as classic as Peter and Jane series is. Well, not exactly...

Malcolm Gladwell is a right brainer- you will be glad to know that to get from the year is to be one. Getting through=survival, Getting from=real growth and wisdom.

Jim Rohn-sculptor of words, direct to your heart. Our dear late Jim Rohn, a man that has touched lives, helping people not just why we should be doing well, but because of the person we can become.

Robert Kiyosaki-you need to be smart enough to know where are you now, and where you aspire to be. Cashflow quadrant is best read following Rich Dad, Poor Dad.

Wishing you the best of 2010.

The Five People You Meet in Heaven by Mitch Albom

I have to start somewhere, should I for the HP series, or start with my favorite authors? I'm going to just post something random, and I happened to "randomly" choose "The Five People You Meet in Heaven" by Mitch Albom. I also wrote a parody version of it "The Five People You Meet In Real Life" Click here to read.

It's a good book, and one of the major themes of the book, "Once you learn how to die, you will learn how to live" (which I happily plagiarized from Wikipedia) which is really well put. And this is one book that begins with an ending, and it's also a beginning, life, after all, must be understood backwards. So does this blog, I have read some of the best written books; cried with the characters, lived in their shoes, ups and downs, excited when they fall in love, it is to be reflected backwards.

about

Books are like my chocolate, my aphrodisiac.

So, if you're a person after my own heart, you may find my book list to be interesting, and maybe you would consider picking it up.

This site is for me to keep count of the number of books I've read; at least, this would be something equivalent to "Must read(s) before you die". Well, read a book, and you will find yourself travel a thousand miles without leaving your bed. Get into your most comfortable position, chocolate drink, gloomy weather, warm blanket with a good book and get into character.

Open for membership. Oh wells, that's half of the world's population out of the list.
